What to do if the tooth fairy had a memory lapse

Back in the day our tooth fairy decided to start delivering the coin, and it was a coin in those days, in a glass of water. The tooth was placed there at bedtime and even if she forgot at night the tooth fairy always remembered by the time the child was up in the morning.
